Naperville Roofing and Construction recently completed a major siding renovation for a home in Plainfield. The project addressed multiple issues caused by the old cedar siding, such as leaks, high maintenance needs, and deformities from heat exposure due to southern exposure. Our skilled siding contractors in Plainfield removed the problematic cedar siding and installed a durable and visually appealing LP Cavern steel and quarry gray color scheme.
The renovation included LP Lap siding with vertical board and batten on the second story, adding a modern touch to the home's exterior. We also upgraded the water management system with 5” seamless gutters equipped with easy-on gutter guards and 3x4 downspouts, ensuring efficient water drainage and protection.
Additionally, we constructed a custom-built covered porch featuring a standing seam metal roof, structural cedar posts, and a shiplap ceiling, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the home. This comprehensive renovation not only improved the home’s appearance but also significantly increased its durability and reduced maintenance requirements.
